Student opportunities and activities
We offer a range of co-curricular programs to support students goals both inside and outside of the classroom.

Our students go into class for their morning session from 8:45am until recess time at 11:00am.
The middle session runs from 11:30am until 1:00pm.
The last session at our school will be from 1:40pm until 2:45pm.

Uniform
Pilliga Public School stocks embroidered shirts for sale for a small price. Please speak with our school staff about our range of jumpers, shirts and other items available for sale from the school.
Community involvement
Pilliga Public School encourages and supports community events within our town for ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, Easter, NAIDOC Day and at our end of year school presentation event.
Our school is serviced monthly by joint providers such as NDCAS toy library and Narrabri Shire Library who deliver STEAM learning activities for our students.
Our school regularly participates in the CWA Country of Study competitions.
Travel to school
Pilliga Public School is currently serviced by NRC buses. A scheduled bus run collects out of town students in the Walgett and Gwabegar directions of our community.

Some families may be eligible for transport NSW drive to school subsidies.
